The Erdmann & Rossi Edition by Klaus Jakob − finest Watchmaking in limited Numbers – sold out
For decades, watchmaker Klaus Jakob has been praised for his exceptional chronometers. His individually designed timepieces have won him numerous awards.
The design of this watch (“Model 1”) takes its cues from historic gauges of the 1930s. In crafting it, Klaus Jakob has produced a piece of jewellery fitting for the times. “Model 1” comes with a very rare, exceptionally beautiful Unitas 6300 hand-wound movement. The Unitas 6300 was originally designed for military use. In the 1960s, it was one of the first movements with a directly driven center second hand.
The design featuring the characteristic railway pattern is inspired by tachometers used around 80 years ago in Erdmann & Rossi coachwork on Horch chassis. Horch obtained a significant number of gauges from R. Mühle & Sohn, Glashütte. In the creation of this watch we have been advised by Mühle-Glashütte GmbH .
Stainless steel or white gold plated casing. Sapphire glass. Screwed bezel. Each chronometer is personalised for its purchaser.
The Erdmann & Rossi Edition by Klaus Jakob (“Model 1”) is part of a batch of just 10 pieces and will be produced individually to order. Make sure to retain one of these rare pieces.
“Model 1” is now sold out. We are about to prepare a new edition of Erdmann & Rossi watches.
