Vehicle under construction: Erdmann & Rossi – BMW 319/1 streamline coupe (1936)
One of our licensees is currently producing the rebody of a phantastic Erdmann & Rossi streamline coupe based on a BMW 319/1 in its original black colour. Back in the mid-1930s, the car had a futuristic appearance. Only a few photographs of the original vehicle, which was lost during the Second World War, still exist.
The chassis is currently being restored and a model for reconstructing the coachwork is under development. This has involved scanning a similar vehicle in order to be able to take measures accurate to the very inch. Historic materials, including nitrocellulose paint, will be used in the reconstruction.
Step into this spectacular project today and become the proud owner of a magnificent and unique automobile. The contract will be concluded exclusively with our licensing partner René Große Restaurierungen GmbH & Co. KG.
